I use small clear rubber bands or clear (has to be clear, not invisible tape) I band or tape the item to a pop-cycle stick (I get them at the craft store, they are very cheap) and then stick it into the folds of the cake. The stick is helpful for adding height as well. I hope this helps. Here is my email if you have any further questions:
lhueyc at aol dot com
Happy New Year,
LysaLysahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13531439737335526294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1537501804733723964.post-31954005720851543492013-01-02T12:43:29.453-05:002013-01-02T12:43:29.453-05:00Dear Lysa! I have made five of them, everybody adores them, and I love making them but it takes forever to attach the items to the cake with thread. Do you have a quicker, easier way to do this? Please let me in on the secret, pleeeeeze?Joan K.noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1537501804733723964.post-31297739307003172992012-11-22T13:21:05.235-05:002012-11-22T13:21:05.235-05:00Thanks for the file. Hope you give this box a try when work allows for some crafty mojo. I hear you when you say how lucky we are to be working. I try my best not to complain too. Keep me posted on your crafts for the holidays and check back because I am trying to post some of my older files over the next few weeks. Thanks again for your support and please know it just takes one comment from someone(like you) to keep me going. You are a dear!
LysaLysahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13531439737335526294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1537501804733723964.post-8454430280613908742012-10-27T12:44:18.181-04:002012-10-27T12:44:18.181-04:00These are so nice! Thx so much Lysa! Gotta scan some more older posts on your blog, this past week has been busy and come next Tuesday I will be on the road again... work never ends but I cant complain. Lucky to be in the workforce right now. Thx again! ;)Luv2CUSmilehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02784778131942677746noreply@blogger.com
