Hi All,
I have been decorating for Halloween all week. I started on Saturday and now that it is Thursday the primping has begun. Tonight I just wanted a little something above the picture by the front door and now that we all know I am totally in LOVE with the BOO on the cricut Happy Haunting cart, I just could not resist making a BOO for the wall. I know ... I know its a bit redundant using the same graphic here, there and everywhere .... but com'on that BOO! is so pretty. I just can't get enough of it. I think provocraft did a great job with this cart and I need to mention that the bats are from the Oct 31 cart. I have been having a blast with both. Thanks to you all for letting me share my love for Halloween. I have 1 more goodie I hope to finish this weekend and post. And then I have to settle in to making my favors.Wishing all of you a crafty Halloween and thanks for stopping by.

CHA is almost here
Hello All,
Yes, CHA summer is upon us. Soon all of us who are not attending can watch video reviews and read about all the fall crafty fun that will soon be available in a store near us. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for a glimpse of the new Cricut Imagine. Now we all know the boards are a buzz with info and even a picture. There is rumor of a contest. I myself have posted all over the place that I will be first on line for this. Yeah I don't even have a clue about specs or what it can do. But I am telling you now I am on line to buy. Yes, that would be me. Printing and cutting my heart out for the fall and winter '10 season. I am on board! A long awaited stand alone printer cutter. Why. that's every papercrafter's dream. Really it has been my dream since the wishblade. I love that blue machine. It works, but not good enough. I waste paper due to alignment issues. I have also used my KNK and gee it is a bit complicated for print and cuts, and yes I have used the hinge method with the cricut but .... none of them are on the mark. I know that there are industrial versions on the market that can fulfill my needs but a whopping price tag of about $3000.00. I just can't swing it. I mean I am an average Joette. I can't do it. So if Provocraft can bring that into my space for under $1000.00 then I am thinking they may have a winner. Without any info I need to say it would have to be able to import any .jpeg or .png file. I would have to be able to draw my own cut lines to surround the imported image. I would like to be able to export in a standard file format like an .svg. I would like to be able to buy replacement ink locally. I would like to be able to use the cartridges I already own. Will it fulfill these hopes? Ahhh, time will surely tell. I know I can't wait. Sorry for the rant but my family and friends just don't want to hear me talk about it anymore. Thanks for visiting and check out the just a scrappin link and joy's life link for updated info on the Imagine. Those girls have it all goin' on.

A Paper Project

See I really do play with paper. I had the pleasure of attending a baby shower for a relative back in February and I made these for the table. I got the file from lkc over at the SCAL forum Her blog is http://thealliancetrader.blogspot.com/ How generous is she to share this great box file. I gave her a shout out on the SCAL forum. She does great files. Need I say they cut like BUTTA. Check her out if you can. I used the cricut and SCAL to cut these. The paper is from the Martha Stewart pink stack, which I got at Walmart. The candles that went inside were scented "clean linen" and here is a little tip. I got them all packed into boxes and put "clean linen" scented wax melts into the box along side of the favors. After being in the boxes over time the paper absorbs the scent and they smell really pretty. I do have to say that making large quantities of a favor is something I really enjoy. Wish I could get a handle on taking better pics but hopefully that will come in time. Have a great night and thanks for visiting!

Some White Vinyl and A Cricut with SCAL ... Now Thats Crafty-licious!

Wow this weekend is flying by .. but as always there is time to get CRAFTY! Our local ACE Hardware was closing out these bar stools for $19.99. Pauly had a need for them in the music area. (there is a reason why I say area instead of room) So we nailed four of them. So here are pics of the first two. I used cricut vinyl (way to pricey, but I was out of white) and it was all I could get my hands on at a moments notice. The graphics were pulled from .PDF catalogs from the internet. Not bad for a quick craft and spruce up for cheap bar stools. Next up is one honoring the Mesa Boogie Amps that he loves so much. Sorry for the quality of the pictures but the stool tops are so reflective that I couldn't a good shot. Have a great day and thanks for visiting.
